It is estimated that there are 70 million stray animals living in the United States, and even worse is that only an estimated 3,500 make it into shelters to be adopted. Those people that dedicate their lives to rescuing and caring for these animals are a special group of people that give all they have to ensure the safety of these animals. “Informed” will be airing this episode in the weeks to come and will be providing it to Public Television PBS Member stations.
